We all want to know more about the world around us. And that includes the environment around us, from the air to the light. But we can’t exactly lug a weather station around with us. The TZOA, though, can let you clip a weather station to your lapel and collect data on your phone.

It’s pretty straightforward. Just clip the TZOA to your bag, your lapel, or some other surface that’s available and open to the environment, and link it to your phone. Then just go about your day and let it do its job.
While you’re at work and at play, it measures air quality, UV light, humidity and temperature. You can track the data daily to see how it changes and it also sorts through the particulate matter to see if it’s allergens, soot, or other particles. It even tracks locations so you can know where the air quality is at work and at home. In fact, you don’t even need to pull out your phone; a quick press and an LED will give you a rough idea of air quality.

Granted, there’s such a thing as too much data, and it’s reasonable, unless you have a respiratory disease or are just an enormous data nerd, to ask why you need to track particulate matter in the atmosphere around you. But if you do have a respiratory disease, or, let’s face it, this is really for the massive data nerds of the world, you finally have a way to quantify the world around you. And maybe annoy that one coworker who’s kind of a hypochrondriac.
